The U.S. Embassy Belmopan is selling surplus movable property (SMP) via a Web Based Electronic Auction to include five vehicles. The auction will be live from Monday, February 15th to Sunday, February 21st. During this period you can actively take part and submit your bid for the surplus property.
The Embassy will be having an in-person viewing of the vehicles on Friday, February 19th from 08:00 to 12:00. COVID 19 countermeasures including wearing masks at all times, maintaining social distancing to include not more than one person at a vehicle at a time, and the use of hand sanitizer must be observed. Individuals not following directives will be asked to leave.
The winning bidders will be notified via email on Monday, February 22nd. Detailed instructions on payment, customs, title transfer, and pick-up will be included in the email.
Successful bidders must pay for their items in cash. All winning bidders must pay in person at the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan on Tuesday, February 23rd between 1:30 and 3:00pm.
