Event:  Updated Curfew Hours and COVID-19 Restrictions.

The Government of Belize has announced pandemic-related, updated curfew and movement restrictions in Belize, which began at midnight on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

  • A daily curfew is in effect across the country from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Persons violating curfew hours will be fined.
  • Restaurants, bars, diners, and other similar establishments may offer dining-in services by reservation only, for no more than 50% of its seating capacity, for fully vaccinated persons only.
  • Restaurants that have proper ventilation or a restaurant that is an open-air restaurant, outdoor restaurant may offer dining-in services by reservation only, for no more than 75% of its seating capacity, for fully vaccinated persons only.
  • All casinos are closed.
  • All churches are closed for in-person worship.
  • Contact sports are prohibited.
