The Public Affairs Section (PAS) is responsible for all media, educational and cultural exchanges, American speaker programs and other public issues in support of the Embassy’s Mission. PAS facilitates several educational exchange programs, including the International Visitor Programs and Hubert. H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for a numerous of local contacts. The head of the Public Affairs Section is the Public Affairs Officer (PAO), who is also the Embassy’s Spokesperson. Press inquiries to any section of the Embassy should be directed in the first instance to the PAO.
